In Defense of Fat

Here is a really cool new documentary that will be coming out soon all about fat! What could be better than some of the top movers and shakers in the nutritional world along with doctors who are not afraid to talk about the truth and science, doing a show about fat!!!! Grok on... as Mark Sisson would say. It is a project called "In Defense of Fat"

Here is a short description about the film:
""In Defense of Fat" clarifies the complex relationship between human evolutionary history and the science - and politics - of nutrition and health. The film is firmly rooted in current scientific research on Ancestral Health, a theory which proposes that the human body is not adapted to an agricultural diet, and especially not to the many processed foods in our daily lives. As a result, 'healthy' low fat diest and "essential" carbohydrates may actually increase rates of diabetes and obesity, and dietary fat may not be blame for our expanding waistlines.
Through in=depth interviews, animation, and examination of our cultural attitudes, "In Defense of Fat" will explain the complex issues at play in our national discussion of diet and health."

I think this is so awesome that more and more people are willing to stand up and stop taking the crap from the government about diets and what they think we should eat, which only makes their pocketbooks larger. It is time to get back to real food, grass raised and finished beef, the whole beef, organs, bones, the fat, poultry that is free range, local produce grown to the highest standards and no more processed foods. The way our ancestors ate.

The smell of fat is in the air....Saving the world one stick of butter at a time.
God bless
Jenn
